Who We Help
Families who meet all three of the following criteria are eligible for assistance from Larchmont Friends of the Family:

Families facing a medical crisis or loss
LFOF serves families who experience a medical crisis or loss of a parent or child. These situations disrupt the security of normal family life and we can help immediately.

Families with dependent children
In particular, LFOF serves households who face a crisis when they are in the midst of raising a family.

Families who live in the Mamaroneck Union Free School District and/or have strong ties to the school district community
Such ties may include active membership in a Larchmont/Mamaroneck place of worship or school, employment in the public work force, participation in Larchmont/Mamaroneck civic activities, or residence in the Mamaroneck Union Free School District. Our service area is focused locally in order to maximize both our financial resources and the positive benefits of “neighbors helping neighbors.”
