Who We Help
Families who meet all three of the following criteria are eligible for assistance from Larchmont Friends of the Family:

Families facing a medical crisis or loss
LFOF serves families who experience a medical crisis or loss of a parent or child. These situations disrupt the security of normal family life and we can help immediately.

Families with dependent children
In particular, LFOF serves households who face a crisis when they are in the midst of raising a family.

Families with ties to the Larchmont community
Such ties may include active membership in a Larchmont/Mamaroneck place of worship or school, employment in the public work force, participation in Larchmont civic activities and/or residence in the 10538 zip code. Our service area is focused locally in order to maximize both our financial resources and the positive benefits of “neighbors helping neighbors.”
