LFOF is excited to launch The Community Piggy Bank Project as a way to involve children in the work we do and allow them to learn the value of generosity to those who are confronting impossible circumstances.
LFOF is excited to launch The Community Piggy Bank Project at local schools and businesses in Larchmont and Mamaroneck. We are hoping to involve children in the work we do and allow them to learn the value of generosity to those who are confronting impossible circumstances.
Each school will be participating in slightly different way to cater best to their children. We will be providing Piggy Bank’s for the classrooms and reading a book to the children about helping in the community. We are hoping to help teach the children to give. We hope your families will rally around this cause by collecting spare change for the children to bring to the class Piggy Bank until November 15th.
We are excited that the following schools have all agreed to participate in various ways: - Central School - Chatsworth Avenue School - LAC Preschool - Larchmont Temple Nursery School - Mamaroneck Avenue School - Mamaroneck Community Nursery School - Murray Avenue School - St John's Nursery School
In addition, LFOF will provide coin canisters to all kids for them to use to collect spare change for LFOF while trick-or-treating on Halloween! If your child is not already participating and you would like a coin canister, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
